Superfriends!

So I went home last night, and Jacob and Grace were (as usual) still up. (Yeah, I know, 10:30 p.m. is way too late for almost-4-year-olds to be up, but, hey, they sleep in!) Apparently, Grace had been looking at the stars before I arrived home, and said:

Star light, Star bright
The first star I see tonight
I wish I may, I wish I might
Have the wish I wish tonight
. . . I wish that mama would come home . . .

I was so glad to have made her "wish" come true! And we had a GREAT time . . . we all snuggled in our bed watching "Superfriends" on the Boomerang channel. It's one of Jacob's favorite cartoons (right after Looney Tunes and Scooby Doo -- my kids are very nostalgic!) We had a great time rooting for the good guys -- last night, Superman saved all the other superfriends from the evil Medusa, who cast a spell on all women; the women - under Medusa's spell - obliterated the superfriends so that Medusa could rule the world with her women zombies. It was quite exciting!

May you all have "Superfriends" moments with those you love . . .
