We have been busy enjoying the summer sunshine here in Illinois! A week ago, we enjoyed a paddle boat ride and a vintage baseball game at a local museum/park. Since I unfortunately have not been able to have a full-fledged vacation this summer, I took last Friday off from work, and enjoyed a vacation day -- we had a blast! On Friday, we went to a local beach (yes, they have beaches in Illinois! Except they are on lakes, not oceans!). On Saturday, we enjoyed a local county fair. Sunday was busy at home, with a few visitors and recouperating. Here are some pictures:
